Arkansas State University-Newport will host an Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Boating Education course Thursday, June 16 from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in room 127 of Walton Hall on the Newport campus.

Arkansas State University-Newport will give Jackson County youth the opportunity to solve a crime when they host two “Get A Clue” camps this summer.  The camps, based on the board game “Clue” will run June 13-16 for students entering grades 3-6, and July 11-14 for students entering grades 7-

Spring 2016 Commencement ceremonies for Arkansas State University-Newport will be streamed live online, the two-year college announced Thursday. 

Commencement is scheduled for Friday, May 13 at 5:00 p.m. at the ASUN Center for the Arts in Newport.

Beginning Monday, May 16, the hours of operation for Arkansas State University-Newport will shift to a summer schedule. 

Eight Arkansas State University-Newport students earned recognition, including five gold medals and one first place blue ribbon, at the Arkansas SkillsUSA competition held earlier this month at the Hot Springs Convention Center.

Arkansas State University-Newport will offer a Summer Bridge program for high school students desiring to earn college credit this summer.  The Summer Bridge program will run from May 31-June 29, and high school students completing the program will earn college credit for Oral Communications

NEWPORT (Ark.) 4/26/2016 – Seven Arkansas State University-Newport students earned recognition at the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda Leadership Conference and State Competition held earlier this month in Little Rock.
