Student Orientation

Student Orientation Sessions have been revised to be more student-centered! Student Orientation sessions will no longer be mass registration sessions accompanied by an overwhelming amount of information for support services. Instead, orientation sessions will be one-on-one and small group course registration and financial aid focused sessions. In August, each campus will hold an Open House to welcome all ASU-Newport students and their families! During the Open Houses, students will get an opportunity to tour the campus, meet with their faculty members, learn about support resources, and much more!

In order to make the most of your orientation session, the Financial Aid Office will have staff available so students can get assistance with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA).
