In the spring, ASU-Newport postponed its commencement ceremonies in hopes of holding in-person celebrations in the fall. Because of the rise in COVID-19 cases across Arkansas, ASUN's leadership team decided a virtual ceremony would be the safest way to honor the 2020 Spring and Summer graduates.
