Scholarship Renewal

This policy is applicable to all ASUN Institutional Scholarships that are eligible for renewal.

Scholarship Renewal Requirements

To renew an ASUN Institutional Scholarship, students must:

• Maintain a 2.00 cumulative grade point average (GPA).
• Successfully complete at least 67% of their courses (PACE).
• Meet the renewal requirements at the end of each term of enrollment.

ASUN's Financial Aid Office will verify academic progress at the end of each term. Scholarships may be renewed until the student earns their academic degree, as long as all renewal requirements are met.

What Happens If I Don't Meet the Requirements?

Students who do not meet the scholarship renewal requirements will not receive their ASUN Institutional Scholarship(s) in future terms. There is no appeal process for the loss of an ASUN Institutional Scholarship.

 

Frequently Asked Questions About Scholarship Renewal

What happens to my ASUN Institutional Scholarship if I change my major?

If you change your major before completing the degree for which your ASUN Institutional Scholarship was originally awarded, the scholarship may transfer to the new degree. However, the scholarship may only be renewed through completion of the new degree or the equivalent of four semesters of full-time enrollment, whichever applies under the scholarship requirements.

Do I have to be enrolled full time to keep my scholarship?

Yes. Students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours to remain eligible for the Chancellor's, Excellence, Dean's, and University Scholarships.
