Program Overview

The Certificate of Proficiency in Manufacturing Welding offers hands-on welding classes that prepare students for careers in manufacturing, construction, and fabrication. Students learn MIG, TIG, and arc welding, along with welding theory, safety practices, and material properties. The program teaches students to interpret blueprints, set up welding equipment, and perform welds on various metals. Through hands-on workshop experience, students develop practical skills in welding and metal fabrication. Graduates are prepared for entry-level welding careers with a strong emphasis on precision, safety, quality control, and industry standards.
