Jeanna Mason is an Associate Professor of English in the English and Fine Arts department at the Jonesboro campus. Dr. Mason’s research focuses on post-plantation spaces in Southern and African American literature and the ways that the spaces are used to communicate ideas about community, belonging, and identity. Dr. Mason is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment in both her face-to-face and online classrooms. She encourages students to develop their research skills, their confidence as writers and learners, and to value their unique voices and perspectives as they pursue their educational goals.
