Fall classes begin on August 20, and one of the first things students will notice is a big change at the ASU-Newport Bookstore. We are excited to introduce the SOAR Textbook Program which stands for Save On A Rental Textbook Program. 

Instruction in the classroom is only a fraction of what Arkansas State University-Newport instructors encourage for their students. While perfecting their chosen craft, many programs require their students to take part in an internship.

Arkansas State University is pleased to welcome Mallory Jordan as the newest addition to its Marketing and Communications Department. Jordan will serve as the Marketing and Communications Specialist.

More than 250 Arkansas State University-Newport students were named to the Chancellor’s or Vice-Chancellor’s lists for academic excellence for the Spring 2018 semester, the college announced Monday. 

An Arkansas State University-Newport cosmetology student was selected as the winner of a Great Clips scholarship. Alysen Swafford, from Steele, Mo., was recently recognized at ASUN-Marked Tree with the Great Scholarship. 

An alumnus from Arkansas State University-Newport's Energy Control Technology program recently donated an air conditioning unit to the program to help further student success.
