Embraceable You Image Collage

Great seats remain on sale for “Embraceable You,” the second installment in the 2016-2017 ASU-Newport Patron Series.  Scheduled for Feb. 14 at 7 p.m., the show is a tribute to the music of George Gershwin, set in post-war Paris. 

More than 280 Arkansas State University-Newport students were named to the Chancellor’s or Vice-Chancellor’s lists for academic excellence for the Fall 2016 semester, the college announced Friday. 

Culinary Experience

Arkansas State University-Newport announced Friday that four ASUN Culinary Experience classes will be held on the ASUN Jonesboro campus during the Spring 2017 semester.  All Culinary Experience classes will be held from 6-9 p.m.

IGNITE Ribbon Cutting

NEWPORT (Ark.) 10/31/2016 – A large crowd was on hand Monday morning as Arkansas State University-Newport held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new IGNITE Academy.

Adam Adair - Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration accepting award

Adam Adair, Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration at Arkansas State University-Newport, was named Education/Public Sector Arkansas CFO of the Year by Arkansas Business at a luncheon held Wednesday in Little Rock. 

Arkansas State University-Newport is seeking comments from the public about the college in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency.  ASU-Newport will host a visit February 27-28, 2017, with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission.
