ASUN to Host Free Fall Festival October 15
NEWPORT, Ark. — Arkansas State University-Newport invites the community to its Newport campus for an evening of free family fun at the Fall Festival on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m.
The festival will feature bounce houses, pumpkin painting, a hayride, carnival games, a cake walk and live music. Guests can also enjoy food, snow cones and cotton candy. Two cash prize drawings will add to the evening’s festivities.
“Supporting our community means creating opportunities for people to come together, connect with one another and feel welcome on our campus,” said ASU-Newport Chancellor Ike Wheeler. “We look forward to sharing an evening of fun with the families, friends and neighbors who have been part of our story for 50 years.”
Families are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets, gather with friends and neighbors, and enjoy the celebration as ASU-Newport marks its 50th anniversary year.
The Fall Festival is made possible through the support of Darling’s Pharmacy, Darling’s Fine Things, Dr. Patti Mullins DDS, DuPree Self Storage and Jackson’s Funeral Homes.
The event is free and open to the public.
