Principles of the Bakeshop:

This class will teach a simple list of ingredient, the bakeshop tools, and equipment. Stages of cooked sugar, melting point of fats, thickeners, melting of chocolate, and Cake decoration.

Arkansas State University-Newport at Jonesboro's Hospitality Services Department will host Culinary Experience classes during the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters. All Culinary Experience classes will be held from 6-9 p.m.

at the Fowler Family Hospitality Services facility located at 5504

Krueger Drive in Jonesboro. Pastry Chef Melanie Jackson of A Lady’s Touch Elegance will be our featured chef.

The fee for each ASUN Culinary Experience is just $50, which includes all supplies and food items required to prepare and cook all of the items. Just bring your own apron and your appetite – we will sample each of the items we prepare following the class!

 

All fees MUST be paid at the time of registration!

Class sizes are limited and fill up quickly, so register promptly!
