About the Degree

ASUN Jonesboro’s Telecommunication program is for those who are interested in the future of developing a highway of electronic communication. Fiber optics, telephone, cable television, internet, computer networking, computer networking, fire and alarm systems are some of the types of electronic communication a students will get hands on experience. Besides knowledge of how communications systems work, students will learn job safety, basic PC repairs and how to create the infrastructure of cable, telephone and computer network systems.

Graduates of the Telecommunication program have secured jobs with many companies locally and out of town. Companies such as Ritter Communications, Suddenlink and Critco have hired alumni of this program. Other graduates have gone on and worked on an associate or bachelor degree in technology.
