During the application process, the system will create a login based on your first name and last name. Please write this login down as it will be the login for MyCampus and your email address upon entrance into ASU-Newport. This login will also allow your information to be saved as you progress through the application. Please take your time and answer the questions to the best of your ability. Information that is incorrect may cause a delay in the processing of your application. Once submitted, the Admissions Office will review it and contact you.
Step 2: Submit Required Documents

- Proof of two (2) Measles, Mumps and Rubella injections (MMRs)
- College Entrance Exam Scores (less than five years old)
- Submit Official College transcripts from ALL colleges attended

Step 3: Complete your FAFSA
In most cases, an FAFSA (Federal Application for Student Aid) is needed if seeking Financial Aid or scholarships. To apply for the FAFSA, please have all of your tax forms and possibly your parent’s information as well if you filed as a dependent on your Federal Income Tax Forms. This will take about thirty minutes to complete. Click here to access the FAFSA site (School Code 042034). If you are applying for federal financial aid for ASU-Newport please go to http://www.asun.edu/financial_aid to access the latest in information and documents to begin this process. Step 4: Student Orientation, Advising
Schedule a date for New Student Orientation and get advised. When you get advised, you will sit down with an ASU-Newport advisor to establish your path while at ASU-Newport. Also while you are at orientation you will receive an ASUN Student ID, an ASUN student E-mail address, and possibly free stuff!
New Student Orientation will occur on an individual basis before the Spring 2017 Semester. Please call the campus you plan on attending, to setup your private New Student Orientation.
