Whether your choices run from the artistic to the practical, ASUN has trainings specifically tailored to meet your needs. We remain in close contact with a bevy of professionals to meet the specific demands of the community for fun, recreational as well as practical enrichment opportunities.
Digital Photography for Beginners
Learn to use a digital camera with Frank Plegge. it is a two-hour class that will take place on Tuesday, November 13 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the ASUN Library. Class size is limited to 10 and the cost to take the class is $10. Please provide your own camera.
This class is an opportunity for children from second to fourth grade to spend time with a parent or guardian and make a gift. Class will take place from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 11 at the ASUN Library. Class size is limited to 12 and there is a $15 cost to attend. All materials are included.
AARP Safe Driving
AARP and ASUN are collaborating to present a Driver Safety course. This class will be in Walton Hall Room 134 Saturday, November 10 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Fee for the course is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. For this date only, the fee is waived for any veterans and their spouses. No tests will be given. Refreshments will be served. Certificates will be given to all who complete the course which can redeemed for a insurance discount. Participants are asked to bring their driver’s license and AARP card if they are a member.
Dancers will participate and learn various country line dances. Members may be invited to perform at local fairs or events. This is a weekly class offered every Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
