The Arkansas Workforce Challenge Scholarship is available to help pay for workforce training in high demand areas. It was designed to assist students in the areas of healthcare, information technology and industry.

Commercial Truck Driving, Automotive Service Technology, High Voltage Lineman Technology, Diesel Technology, Energy Control Technology, Computer Networking Technology, Nursing and Emergency Medical Technician are all programs offered at ASU-Newport that this scholarship could cover.

Basic Eligibility Criteria:

1. Be an Arkansas resident

2. Must be a high school graduate or received high school equivalency

3. Cannot be a current recipient of the Academic Challenge Scholarship

4. Be accepted for admission into an approved program as defined by ADHE
