As the Counselor for Student Services, it is my honor to welcome you to Arkansas State University-Newport located in Newport, AR. It is my desire that you will utilize the services available to you through the counseling office. These services range from personal counseling and academic advising to support for student organizations and community events. I believe that as you become involved with campus life, you will find that your college experience will be greatly enhanced.

Throughout the year, it is our endeavor to offer a variety of special events for you to take part both on-campus and off-campus. Here at ASUN, our campus life consists of the following student organizations: Student Government Association, Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society and Physical Education Majors Club. In addition to student organizations ASUN campus life also offers other ways for students to get involved including Intramural Sports, Minority Support meetings, Drug and Alcohol prevention and Community events.
