Campus Connect is a web-enabled interface to the ASU-Newport student records system.
This interface offers access to a number of information services through the web including: unofficial transcripts, class schedules, as well as registration options such as, adding and dropping of courses.
You need to have
Internet Explorer 5.0 or Netscape Navigator 4.0
or higher to access Campus Connect.

At the ASU-Newport Homepage www.asun.edu, click on the Campus Connect logo on the right hand side of the page OR Simply click the Campus Connect link below.

The User ID will be a set of random numbers and they can be obtained from your advisor or from the admissions office. |
| Password: |
Your last four digits of your social security number is your PIN number. You should change your PIN number after your initial logon, but please remember your new PIN number; no one else will have access to your PIN number. |

How to Enroll in Courses
Fill out an ASU-Newport application. This can be downloaded and faxed to the admissions office.
Once the application is received and inputed, the student can be enrolled provisionally.
All ACT scores and transcripts will have to be received before the student will be allowed to enroll in subsequent semesters.
| How do I register or drop courses with Campus Connect? |

First Step: Contact an advisor. You must be cleared for WEB registration by your advisor first.
Second Step: Once you have decided upon a course schedule, log on to the ASU-Newport Homepage www.asun.edu, click on the Campus Connect logo on the righ hand side of the page OR simply click the Campus Connect link below.

The User ID will be a set of random numbers which can be obtained from your advisor or from the admissions office. For a limited time, you will be able to use your 9 digit social security number. However this feature will be turned off in September so please get your new ID and begin using it. |

Third Step: Select the Reg'r/Add Courses
If you get an error message "You have not been cleared for WEB Registration", then you must contact your advisor again and have your advisor clear the web access.
Select the Term code; you are trying to register for, i.e. Fall 2004, or Spring 2004.
Fourth Step: Select Choose a New Department.
Select the department of the course you are trying to enroll in and press Select.
From the list of courses provided, select the course(s) you are trying to enroll in by pressing the ADD button to the right of the course.
If you make a mistake and wish to drop a course from your schedule:
Find the course on your schedule you wish to drop and press the DROP button next to that course.
NOTE: If you are enrolled in only one course, you cannot drop that course on-line. To drop the last course please contact the Office of Admissions and Records.
Fifth Step: When you are finished select the Exit to Main Menu button, then select the Exit button.
