Driver Training began at ASU-Newport over 20 years ago.

Like most publicly-funded driver training schools, ours began with one truck, one trailer, one instructor, and just a handful of students that first year.

Over time, our program has grown to a fleet of over 35 trucks and trailers, a group of more than 15 experienced driver-trainers, and we've trained over 15,000 students for some of the nations' premier motor carriers.
